Its fenced and has a small cement patio right outside our sliding glass door (though that's not included in the square footage. We are planning on putting grass everywhere except of course the cement patio. We want to put a small firepit they sell at walmart for $50 in the middle. We have 2 bunnies, so we have their hutch out there as well (because of their digging we want to put bricks all around the yard so they cant dig under the wood fence, which they've already done). And we have a satellite dish on a tripod. Its actually pretty spacey. We also want to put a small bistro table on the cement patio with 2 chairs. We will eventually also get a grill. What are your suggestions on what to do? And would you recommend to put SOD or SEED for grass?
What to do? Invite your friends over for a barbeque, or a fire, a bottle of wine and some cards? It sounds lovely!
Or did you mean planting suggestions? Pots of flowers! Or pots of vegetables! A small tree for shade?
I'd go with seed for grass, since I'm a tightwad, and now is a good time to seed anyway.
If you wanted other plant ideas, tell us where you live (the climate) and maybe what your soil is like, or if the yard is sunny, or shaded completely by a neighbor's enormous tree, or whathaveyou.
