Math Homework..can someone check my answers?
1.) Ted bought four lawn chairs for $22 each, a picnic table for $212, and an umbrella for $85. If the sales tax rate is 6%, what was his total bill?
Answer: $408.10
2.)Janet took a standardized test that contains 328 questions. She answered 75% of questions. How many questions did she answer?
Answer: 82
3.) Eric works at a factory where he earns $9.24 an hour. He receives time-and-a-half for overtime and double time for work on Saturday. He worked 52 hours this week, with 8 hours overtime and 4 hours on Saturday. What was his gross pay for this week, including overtime and double time?
Answer: $554. 40

The only one I got different is the second one:
If there are 328 questions on the test and she answers 75% of them 82 is not correct.
I did it this way
let x be the number of questions Janet answered...so you know she answered x out of 328. If you set that equal to the 75 percent, which is 75/100 you can find what x is
So, X/328 + 75/100
If you cross multiply, you get
100x= (328)*(75)
100x = 24600
Divide both sides by 100 and you get x = 246
If you want to check your math, you can do 246 / 328, which equals 0.75 or 75%
