Smaller areas require less power (usually around 20,000 BTU), while larger heaters will require more power (high output heaters will heat to a maximum 40,000 BTU). Also, find out about the warranty, and how you will be affected if your heater goes out of service. Knowing the warranty information will protect your patio heater as a long-term investment.
