where to live in the US when coming from Europe
I made up my mind to move to the US. I live in Austria, am dual citizen and have been doing some research. first I thought west coast but now I´m really considering the east. I lived in Bellevue, WA for 3 years but I really don´t care for the amount of rain there. I want a good amount of sunny days per year and close to the water. gut feeling feeling tells me to look closer at North Carolina. what´s it like there, is it a good place to work in the hospitality industry?
You are right, Bellevue is wet. Have you tried looking at Port Angeles, WA. Out on the Peninsula without the rain they get on the sound. Be forewarned, North Carolina is going to gag you with the humidity and heat combination. Not to mention the hurricanes and storms.
