I'm Asian so a day out in the sun, the tan will me for the rest of my life. I've been in the sun all my life. I want to get a lighter tone than is my natural skin tone. Many of the old chemical sunscreens are opaque, the skin can not be seen through the sunscreen. This may not be aesthetically acceptable to many people. They can also be fat and tightens pores, a problem for people with acne prone skin. A new formulation of sunscreens has been developed that contains micronized titanium dioxide. The advantage of this formulation is that it is almost invisible and has good UV blocking capability.
