Made Fair Trade
Does anyone have sources for Fair Trade clothing, etc?
Would like to buy Fairtrade clothing retailers instead of the usual-Slave Trade industry I most American companies have begun to provide support. I have a few resources, but we need more, because I'm still not finding what I want. I am even thinking about possibly learn to sew my own clothes, but then there is also the need for fabric retailers of fair trade. There is also sources need fair trade chocolate, jewelry, etc. I have a coffee, but not to drink more. This is also, of course, concerns about where buy gifts for birthdays and other holidays for family and friends. Most things are now labeled "Made in China" and has come to mean factory exploitation and slavery conditions, in most cases. Most chocolate is from Ivory Coast, where children are kidnapped from their homes and forced to be slaves. I read a statement saying an African child: "When I eat chocolate, you're eating my flesh." I am not happy or content to continue this way.
Buy Beaner French roast coffee, friend, 100% of fair trade. That's all I have, sorry, because I work there, but better than nothing, right?
