DREAM ACT....why da haters??
I have recently come across the DREAM act and i was jw why sooo many ppl feel a sense of hatred and animosity towards it. I am a born AMERICAN citizen and i have never felt ashamed to be one till i started reading all these posts from ppl protesting against it. It saddens me deeply. I am disgusted towards how cruel and heartless ppl can be. I just finished my two year degree and i have no problem with ppl trying to EARN their citizenship. What's wrong with that? Nothing...but then we have all the cry babies who didn't do JACK complaining. I dont see a problem with it. Besides, if their legal, more taxes. More money for the states. right??? All i no is i hope this law passes b/c this country is SPOILED and LAZY which is why it has fallen behind in education. All we do is eat which is why we are one of the fattest countries in the world. I say let it pass, and let those who can't handle a little competition cry.
Are you a Mexican? Have you ever worked next to a Mexican? I have and the reason I have a problem with them being granted citizenship after coming to this country illegally is because they are willing to do whatever it takes to get here. Even if it means putting real Americans out of work because they will work illegally for $2.00 per hour, when an American expects to be paid 8. I live in Michigan and I can tell you that even the most educated and hardworking are having a hard time because there are very few jobs, but for the few factory jobs that remain, the Mexicans have them all. You can't find a job here unless you have a doctors degree, and most Americans don't. The only jobs left are very low paying. Does an American deserve that job or does an illegal immigrant? I worked in a few factories here and I can tell you that at least 50% of the people working in those factories were illegal immigrants. They don't pay taxes, they steal jobs, they steal from the medical profession because they never pay medical bills, so on and so forth. If they want to come here fine do it legally, but don't reward people for breaking the law, and being a theif!
