Days Dual Use
I just got a new Windows Vista computer, this there any way that I make it a dual boot system with Win98SE?
From what I have read on the net, Vista uses a completely different Boot Loader from past OS's, also I have read that the only way to partition the HDD is to use the Disk Manager program that is in Vista already. I just got this computer two days ago so I have a lot to learn and I hoping that posting this will save me a lot of time. My old PC was a WIN98SE machine that I bought in the year 2000. I have a lot software on there that I what still like to be able to use, I tried installing some of it and needless to say it did not work. Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Lou
PS It is great to be in the 21st Century, my new computer is the HP A1723W 2.8Ghz Dual Core Intel Pentium D, 1Gb of Ram, 250Gb HDD.
You can make dual boot by going into BIOS when your computer starts up, setup DualBoot in the BIOS screen by selecting the boot devices and the orders that they are put on.
