Covers Full Double
Any suggestions for a medium-full coverage foundation that lasts and won't cake?
I have redness on my cheeks and pores on my nose that I want to cover. However, my skin tends to make foundations cake and/or slide off before the end of the day (literally in like 2 hours!). Any suggestions?
I have tried Estee Lauder Double Wear, Laura Mercier Oil-Free Liquid, MAC Studio Fix Fluid, Make Up Forever Mat Velvet, Bare Escentuals, and some others but whatever... Thanks so much! It seems I'm in constant search of a foundation and I haven't found one yet...
Being a professional makeup artist I can say drugstore foundations can aggravate your condition due to the overload of chemicals leaving you dry in some areas, oily in others and of course can be quite cakey and fake looking. Bare escentuals wears off quick because of te bismuth oxychloride which is a pearlizing ingredient that leaves you greasy and streaky. I highly recommend Mineral makeup and I have found what I consider to be the best after comparing it to many other brands including bare escentuals. I based my opinion on Purity (being completley natural), Price, texture, how long it lasts, good for the skin, and overall finish. I found a company called Faerie Organic they are light, airy, cover redness and acne very well, feel like second skin, They stay put all day even in extreme heat and they leave a healthy glow. They are not cakey, powdery, orangey etc... like many other brands I have tried. They have a free sample kit so you can try it for yourself.
