I live in Ohio. I am having a Birthday party for my one year old daughter on Saturday. The weather prediction says scattered storms. I was hoping to have the party outdoors, as there are going to be 10 young children attending, ages 13-infant. I wanted to have the food inside, but have everyone eat outside. We have a very-very large shade tree in our backyard and I was going to set tables under the tree for eating. We have a small deck and I was going to have four chairs there and a small table for adults. Anyway, does anyone have any party tips for planning an outdoor party that might get rained out? Our house is medium size and it is going to be cramped having 9 children running around and 14 adults moving around the house. I thought about buying a canopy tent, but I don't know if that will do any good for rain. Should I still plan on it being outdoor and then moving inside in the event of rain? Or should I plan for an indoor party? Thanks in advance!
keep it outside. it is only a few days away. and I would call a renting place to see if you can possibly rent a tent in case of rain. make sure that they dont make you pay a deductible to hold it in case you want to cancel!
