Why does some indian commandos dress in light blue uniforms? Doesn't it make them easy targets and more obvious?
Heck? How many units of special security forces do they have anyway?

3.green and dark green camouflaged uniformed ones

The blue camouflage is difficult to recognize at dawn and during the night, especially in an urban surrounding where these commandos operate.
It is similar to the black and white urban camo used by NATO forces. The blue is used because of the light (sun and artificial) in a tropic/subtropic region.
Just like many other countries, India has a number of different special operations units:
1.) special police units such as SWAT, FBI Hostage Rescue, GSG9
2.) army special units, equivalent to US Rangers, SAS, German KSK
3.) regular army and policy units
4.) mainly police, usually officers
5.) Marcos = Marine Commandos. Not known to have operated during the Bombay incident. Equivalent to Navy SEALs. Some members recently engaged and sank a Somali pirate vessel.
