help with westinghouse celing fan stu..d problem?
i cant figured out what i have to do to change the light bulb in a Turbo Swirl celing fan because i cant take out the glass without taking out the entire fan, is there a trick?
If yours is the same as the model 04890 that I looked up on the net, you will unscrew the center nut of the light fixture being careful to not let the fixture drop to the floor, the trick is to hold the metal rim while turning the glass globe to the left. It may take took two of you, one holding the rim and the other turning.. Once you have the center piece off you will be able to unscrew the bulbs and install new ones. Be careful and be sure power is off before you do this.
Replace with a long lasting bulb - your not going to want to do this often...
