LAST red eared slider question!?
ok, i have been posting alot about my red eared slider turtles today! About breeding and there new cage and other stuff to. This is my last question!!!!
I have a 100 gallon stock tank in my backyard, it is about 22" high and wide, and about...3 feet I think long. I was thinking of making 1/4 of it land, made with a divider and then there is lotz of water to swim in, and in the water there is a big flower pot tured on its side for them to hide in underwater. Also a UV heat lamp over the dry basking area and another UV light over the water area. Is this a good desighn?
Btw, i of my turtles is 5 inches long and the other 1 is 3 inches.
Actually I'm going to keep them inside, I am to worried about preaditors outside!!! We have to many racoons where I live!
Oh yea and I don't feed them live food, i feed them bloodworms, krill, freeze dryed baby shrimp and krill, some pelets, and mustard greens, romain lettuce, kale and other greens. Not all at once though! lol!
