If I attach four wires coming out of a wall for a light fixture with two cables is that a problem?
Recently I installed a light fixture. The light that was there before the switch has 2 positive and negative 2-wire and this is also what came out of the wall. The support of the new only had 1 pos and 1 neg so that when the installation is negs I attached both the wall to the light and the same for the OP. Will this cause problems?
If the food moves to the first switch, and this is one of the two lights, then it should work. If one cable (one black and one white) is the food, the other goes to switch, then the connection will not work that way. If a wire is fed the change, then the white wire to switch box links to the hot wire. The black ties black light switch to light. The neutral white to white wire loops of the device. Make sure the ground wires spliced and connected to the box.
