TV: LED, LCD or OLED?
Sure, it may be another 5 years for a 42 "OLED TV, but the image quality is unmatched. I'm leaning LED to a TV, but do not know much about them except that it is the way your backlight. Care to shed some light on the subject? ...
I wouldnt image quality that is unmatched. The clarity of the image is reduced to mainly one thing: the resolution. So unless youre language television has a resolution 1080p more I disagree. As for overall image quality goes, the plasma will be unbeatable. There's a reason for that: the response times. Response times of plasma are about 001 ms in instaneous. Unlike the best LCD 2 ms. Poor response times result in blurred images. Look at any LCD with a response time of the poor and on the edge of the moving image, there will be a final effect, especially with the 120-240Hz. The 120 around the 240Hz feature is a joke. Its supposed to reduce blurred images, but actually makes it worse. LCD's, of course, have problems displaying the motion, adding more frames per second makes it even more difficult for the pixels of TVs to keep up. In addition to response times, the plasma also have other advantages that will result in an image superior: better contrast, more accurate colors and better wiewing angles. The reason plasma is better in these areas has actually mentioned backlight. Any Backlight type, which is like any LCD or LED produce their picture, greatly reduce any stress such features. If you have any questions about some of the data mentioned refer to my reference that puts a plasma against an LED. Plasma Beat It hands down.
