Alice in Wonderland wedding ideas?
I'm trying to think of more ideas for our wedding...its in Dec. and we're doing an Alice in Wonderland theme, mainly the Mad Hatter's tea party.
So far were thinking to string up paper lanterns for lighting, taking miss-matched tea sets and making them the center pieces and having tea cups & saucers filled with different teas for favors.
Any other ideas?
The wedding is in So-Cal too, so finding things isn't too hard.
We're on a somewhat tight budget too, so DIY stuff I love 
I hate it when people dis's theme weddings, If she wants to do a theme its her day and probably lot more creative and fun than a boring traditional wedding!
on another other note, I think this would be a fun and creative wedding to plan,
-have little orderves with tooth picks with a sign saying eat me
-a topsy turvey cake would be neat but in a budget I am not sure, other wise use lots of colors on the cake. or even better yet do cupcakes!
-buy cheap top hats and put flowers or anything in them for decoration
-do a cardboard image of the mad hatter characters scene with the heads cut out and have guests pose in them, that would be allot of fun when the night gets going!
-use eBay and amazon, and orientaltrading.com for things!
-make your invites with help pf your friend/family or fiance.
The list is endless!
Theme weddings are way more fun to plan because you can get so creative and save lots of money!
