Another form of solar battery charging in the winter landscape?

Excpet the sun there is another way to charge batteries from solar landscape lighting? I bought and it is cold and rainy no charge. I was thinking of a shipper, but we can use a simple to charge the batteries Malibu right? Any suggestions?
