Why are my Vidalia onions so hot?
There must be some secret that I'm missing here. I just went to Georgia, bought a bag of vidalia onions, got them home and man are they hot! They aren't even sweet. I assume they are the real deal because they have the signature look and they are all labeled Vidalia. Even at the store, it's a crap shoot. I never know if it's going to be sweet or hot. I've had vidalias that I have actually eaten like an apple, they were that good and sweet. So is there a secret to getting the sweet ones because all vidalia onions are not created equal.
take them back to the store.They have been mislabled. It is probaly the middle man that sells to your market. Do not take no for an answer. All V,s are sweet. Get your money back.
