Hanging Outdoor Lantern
What's the best way to hang paper lanterns (with restrictions) for an outdoor wedding?
We're not allowed to hang them from trees. And we're only allowed two hours for set-up. So, we're looking for something that is portable and we can do beforehand and bring to our wedding site.

It's tough without knowing what the site looks like or anything. I think I would do something like vines grow on, some kind of trellis. Then you can just set those up and have the lanterns already strung on it. You could use those thumbtacks or those command things to hang them up in the place if it has pillars.
Do you necessarily like lanterns and how do you need them hanging?
I've seen things with Christmas lights that the person made themselves. They make the wooden picture frame and string lights up and down inside the square. Or wrap them up sticks and have the arrangement already made.

I used Tiki torches for mine. We put some cement in the bottom of pots so that the tiki torch would stand upright. Then we could put the little pots up the driveway without trying to dig holes and put all of them in the ground.
Can you give us a bit more description about how the place is set up?
