What kind of outdoor light bulb?
The light bulb in my lamppost outside burns out very quickly. It was suggested that the humidity here makes them burn out quickly, so I paid $8 for a specially coated outdoor bulb, but it only lasted two weeks. It was then suggested that they were overheating, so I switched from a 60 watt bulb to a 40 watt hoping that it wouldn't overheat. It lasted two days. I thought of trying a fluorescent bulb, but was told that they don't work well when it gets cold, and it does get very cold here.
Does anyone have a suggestion for a durable outdoor light bulb that will last more than two weeks?
Try an appliance bulb - one that is designed to work in refrigerators and/or ceiling fans.......
