i think i know how you save press ctrl + f1 at the same time but it creates a new file on the window thing and after i open emulator i drag the game the game opens then i drag the other one that opened but it says unsupported file type ect. and when i open the game it says loaded battery also when i get pass the start screen it says the m1 circuit board is not installed do i need that? i have tried everything i could think of i loaded in the game on the top bar and i got to like in rock place after i beat brock and got shoes and i accidentally pressed ctrl and it closed so im kind of mad about that and if i need a new emulator please send me a link on where to go thanks i was really mad cuz my charmander(charmelon for like 5 min) was lvl 22 and all my others(pidgy pikachu ect.) was lvl16 please help i want to save this game thanks
i have leaf green on my pc too and i used to have the same problem but i figured out how to save...
When i save i push 'ctrl. S' or go to 'file' 'save' and save the file. then when you try to load it and it says unsupported
file type, go to file; open and click on the file and it should open up where you saved last.
if that does not work, then when you are done playing, go to file, and click save game; and then click oldest slot. then when you try to load it again click load game, and click the one closet to the top.
i usually do both ways just in case.
