Have you ever been on a picnic?
I am planning a picnic this weekend since the weather has been nice.It's going to be me, Angel, my immediate family, Angel's father and his gf. I went out and bought this weather resistant blanket from Bed Bath & Beyond, that is really cool. I have a insulated picnic basket. And I am going to make little finger sammies and sliced fresh fruit, cold sweet ice tea. And maybe some lemon bars for dessert. I just can't wait.
Have you ever been on an actual picnic, with the blanket on the ground and picnic basket?
(I grew up thinking thats how traditional picnics are- I know now a days they differ, so no offense in what people consider a picnic.)
It sounds like you're going to have a great time! The blanket will make a nice tablecloth...but I'd bring along some folding chairs too. Especially for the older people who won't find it as fun to sit on the ground.
