Need new recipes....?

Okay so I have been cooking the same thing for five years of our marraige....well actually no, I guess I add to it at times because in the begining it was corn dogs LMAO. ANyways here are some of the things I make so please give me ideas WAY diffrent from these.I know theres creative people out there....please include instructions LOL

tuna casorol, meat loaf, carribean jerk burgers, home made chillie and home made hot dogs, homemeade chicken noodle soup, shrimp alfredo, spagettis, lazanias, raspberry seasmy seed roasts on the grill, nachos, marinated and grilled chicken, deep fried cat fish, fajitas, tacos, green chillie chicken enchaladas. OMG you list it I probably make it if its not to far out there but yeah I have like 70 dishes I make and every 70 days we repeat those meals LOL Im sure it gets old so HELP. Some ideas I would love for are lamb, and seafoods. Also I love my slower cooker so slower cooker tghings would be good. My husband likes spicy stuff. My kids like anything

Here are several ideas.

This first one, a guy at work told me he would divorce his wife for the recipe (he was kidding of course)

Thai Salad

2 packages Ramen noodles – crushed – do not use seasoning packet
½ cup sunflower seeds
½ cup slivered almonds
½ cup (I stick) butter/margarine
Sauté all above until golden, set aside to cool

Chop 1 head Napa cabbage
Chop 1 bunch green onions

Dressing: Mix together:
1 cup oil
1 cup sugar
½ cup white vinegar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder

Combine all ingredients just before serving

Since it sounds like you enjoyed corn dogs, why not in a casserole?

Corn Dog Casserole

2 cups thinly sliced celery
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 ½ cups sliced green onion

1 ½ pounds hot dogs/Polish or Smoked Sausage

2 eggs
1 ½ cups milk
2 teaspoons rubbed sage
¼ teaspoon pepper

2 packages (8 ½ ounce each) corn bread/muffin mix
2 cups sharp cheddar cheese (divided)

Sauté celery in butter for 5 minutes, add onions, sauté 5 min. more. Remove to a large bowl.

Cut hot dogs into quarters lengthwise, then into half inch pieces. Sauté them 5 minutes in same skillet until browned. Add to vegetables. Set 1 cup of this mixture aside.

In another large bowl, mix the eggs, milk, sage and pepper. Add the larger portion of the hot dog/ vegetable mixture and mix well.

Add the packages of corn bread/muffin mix and mix very well. Add 1½ cups of the cheese and mix well. Spread into a 9 x 13 casserole dish, sprayed with Pam. Top with reserved hot dog mixture and remaining ½ cup cheese.

Bake uncovered at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Test for doneness with a toothpick inserted into center. If wet batter sticks to toothpick bake another 5 minutes until done.

And a chicken recipe I KNOW you've never had... very easy!

Lazy Gourmet Chicken

1 tbls sugar
¼ cup vinegar
½ cup soy sauce
4 garlic cloves, minced
¾ tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
2 ½ - 3 # fryer, cut up

Combine all ingredients except chicken in a large, tightly lidded saucepan and bring to a boil. Add chicken pieces and coat each well. Keep covered and reduce heat, simmer 35-40 minutes, basting several times along the way.

And another... my first wife, who HATED to compliment me on my cooking, actually said this was the best pasta dish she had ever eaten... enjoy!

Pasta with Roasted Bell Peppers and Basil

1 pound Penne or other short pasta
1 Tablespoon olive oil
2 cups chopped onion
½ teaspoon crushed fennel seeds
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (14 ½ ounce) can whole tomatoes, un-drained and chopped
3 pounds (6 large) bell peppers, roasted & peeled (red & yellow work the best)
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp freshly ground pepper
½ cup thinly sliced fresh basil
½ cup fresh ground Parmesan cheese (or more to taste)

•Cook pasta per package instructions and drain. Keep warm.
•Heat oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium low heat. Add onion, fennel seeds and garlic, cover and cook 10 minutes (stirring occasionally) or until onion is tender.
•Add tomatoes and bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
•Meanwhile, cut roasted peppers into Julienne strips. Add pepper strips, salt and pepper to tomato mixture and heat for 3 minutes.
•Combine pasta, tomato mixture and basil into a large bowl, sprinkle with Parmesan at the table.

In case you don’t know how to roast bell peppers:

•Halve, seed and remove the membranes and stems from the bell peppers
•Flatten, skin side up, onto a vegetable sprayed foil on a cookie sheet
•Place under broiler for 10-15 minutes, watching very closely
•When skin is mostly black, remove to a paper bag and refrigerate
•After cooling 15 minutes or so, remove and discard the blackened skin
