The best way to roast a marshmallow?
I don't have a fireplace, so I roast them (or try to) over my gas stove.
The flames are blue and solid. Would it be better if I used a fire pit?
Whenever I try to roast them, they either
A. catch fire, end up blackened & gross
B. The outside of the top part is nice and gooey but the inside/middle and bottom is still cold and solid.
I'd like them to be nice and gooey, with that "skin' that has brown-patches. Perfect for mashing between a graham cracker and some chocolate! <3
Speaking of chocolate, the marshmallow never seems to melt it much at all. (Probably because the middle & bottom of the 'mallow never heat) I wish it'd melt more....
Do you have any advice?

put the graham cracker on a cookie sheet. put the chocolate on the cracker. add the marshmallow on top of that and broil for a few minutes. It turns out beautifully every time.
