Help with audio recording?
I'm trying to record audio from a movie, but I can not do well. Each time you record something, you can hear the air moving as if a fan is blowing or static. But there is a fan and the room can not hear anything. Only displayed in the recording. I using Adobe Soundbooth to record from a lavalier microphone. (The noise reduction in Soundbooth is not working well. Even when they manipulated the most aggressive settings no help at all.)
There are at least a couple things that might be happening. First, the fact that the lavalier microphone can pick up some noise a source of your ears are not improving, as the air conditioning unit or heat, or even the fans in the team. Lavaliere are very sensitive, and includes almost all in the room. Your mind usually ignores the "background noise" heard continuously over a period of time. Electronic equipment does not that. Another thing that may be more likely, is that the noise is generated directly in the recording device you are recording through. Your lavaliere must be connected to the computer it is recording to. What is the connection? If it is plugged into the sound card or any other device that is within your own computer then it is probably that the noise is entering the mixing board, amplifier, etc. not listed here. The electronic digital computer to create "noise" sound card or other internal device, which can not be heard until it is played. It happens during the conversion of analog audio (from microphone) to a digital signal that your computer can understand.
