I'm trying to figure out which one works the best. I've eaten turkey from an oil/propane fryer and it was so good but I read bad stuff about it online. I've only heard of one electric fryer but does it still use oil? Are the results still the same? (Cook in less time as well?) And I don't know much about the infra-red/char-broil kind... Are they at all like the first 2 I mentioned?
Oil is the best. Those horror stories come from people who didn't follow the safety directions. The fryer will explode if the turkey's not thawed, but as long as you thaw the turkey, there will be no explosion. Like magic, right?
