Views on the Nation Critter rat cage?
I just got this cage as a birthday present. It is double standard and I have not yet established. Honest reviewers: how? Do you have double or individual? Any decorating tips? Since I'm going to sew everything hammocks and other stuff, What fabric should I use? It's fine wool? Thank you!
Personally, I have a CN. Martins I have an R-695. However, as a member in a rat many I see a lot of people who prefer the CN on any cage. Like any cage, there are disadvantages. Some cons I've heard is that the bread is too fragile doors take up too much space so it is difficult to hang things, without losing a door, the bread makes it difficult to use any other bedding wool, and bars are very close to what some water bottles have "problems" with getting through the bars. In general, people who love to cages CN. Fleece is the most popular use of cages of rats. As for decorating tips? Make sure you change it from time to time, the rats like new things. Continuing a theme of wool seems to work for a lot of people, and generally keep the cage of a color (or colors) is better than random colors here and there.
