Is there a downdraft ventilation of the kitchen is positioned behind a slide in gas range?

I'm trying to put into a large kitchen in my new kitchen island. To adjust the spacing should be 30 "slide in the model (no backsplash / elevator - only flush with the countertop.) Today is a jenn air electric with integrated ventilation in the downdraft. I found a new gas stove with a self-cleaning convection oven that I would like buy, the problem is ventilation. All add-on downdraft vents seems to be made for kitchens and extend forward in the area of the cabinet under the stove. I need to find a vent fan that has a remote (can be mounted below or beside the house) to prevent sticking in the area that will occupy the range. No why be one of the pop-up style luxury, or something just to vent my kitchen. It can be a maximum of 6 inches deep (front to back.) If you can find a pre-built, I have to find the proper parts to build my own - grill, fat receptors, kitchen extractor nominal. I can do the assembly and ducts myself.

We have a downdraft ventilation and does not do a good job of removing odors from cooking, etc. If we were to do yet again, we would not waste the money. I think you should think a little before acting
