You are bidding on a used MS-260 Pro chain saw. I bought this saw from a friend who could not make ends meet with his tree service. He sold all of his equipment and went out of business. The saw was purchased over a year ago so it has no warranty period left.
The MS-260 Pro is one of the easiest professional chain saws to handle. Of all the Stihl Professional series of chain saws, the MS-260 Pro is the lightest in weight. It has an added decompression valve for easier starts, an adjustable automatic bar and chain oiler, and a carburetor preheat shutter for summer and winter operation. There's isn't anything that this saw can't take down. You can use it for clearing tall trees, cleaning up after storms, and cutting firewood even in the middle of winter.
I tested this saw, and it runs great. After cleaning it up, it almost looks new, aside from a few scratches. I replaced the 16 inch bar and chain with a brand new 18 inch bar and chain.
Included with this chain saw are the tools that it came with and the original owner’s manual. I’ve also included many extras with this chain saw. You’ll get an extra 18 inch Stihl chain (part number 3634-005-0074), a pair of safety glasses, a 3 pack of 3/16 chain sharpening files, and a Stihl carrying case.
