Standards grates are sold separately. When you are buying here you are cutting out the middle man that's why the price is this low if you happened to see one in a store it will be at least 30% more most grills with 304 stainless steel grates and burners are at least $600 $650 and up, the grills you see in the big chain stores are low grade stainless steel and don't have stainless steel grates or burners or for that matter 5 burners rated at 60000 btu's and none of them have are patented turning system which is a faster and better way to grill. are grills have about the highest btu's per inch on the market today which makes for more even and better grilling.
